UniCore Apps (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Money Book (“the App”) handles information when you use its personal income and expense management features.
1. Information you enter
Money Book lets you enter and manage financial records such as income, expenses, transfers, budgets, bill reminders, family-member labels, and receipt records. These details may be stored locally on your device as part of the App's normal operation. You should only enter information that you are comfortable storing on your device.
2. Local storage and account
The App is designed for local use and does not require you to create an online account for its core features. Based on the current app design, your financial records are stored on your device rather than being routinely uploaded to a UniCore Apps cloud account. We do not operate a cloud account service for Money Book.
3. Receipts, exports, and backups
If you add receipt images, export records (for example, CSV or PDF), or create a backup, the resulting files may be saved to a location you select or to storage managed by your device. You control where you save, share, or restore those files. Anyone who obtains an exported or backed-up file may be able to view its contents, so keep those files secure.
4. PIN and biometric security
If you enable the App's PIN or biometric lock, it is used to help restrict access to the App on your device. Biometric verification is handled through the Android operating system and the device's supported biometric security features. Money Book does not receive or store your fingerprint or face biometric data.
5. Data sharing, collection, and advertising
The current release is intended to work without an online account or cloud synchronization. UniCore Apps does not sell your financial records. This policy does not claim that data is never processed by Android, device services, or any third-party software included in a particular build. If a future version introduces analytics, crash reporting, advertising, cloud synchronization, or other services that collect or transmit information, this policy will be updated to describe those services and the information involved.
6. Permissions
The App may request device permissions needed for features you choose to use, such as selecting or saving receipt images, exporting files, or setting reminders/notifications. You can review and manage app permissions in your Android device settings. The exact permissions available may vary by Android version and device.
7. Retention and deletion
Financial records and other app data may remain on your device until you delete them within the App, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App, depending on the type of data and Android behavior. Exported or backed-up files saved outside the App are not necessarily deleted when you uninstall the App; manage those files separately using your device's file manager.
8. Children's privacy
Money Book is a general personal-finance utility and is not specifically directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to UniCore Apps through an online service, please contact us using the official website.
9. Security
We aim to provide practical privacy and access-control features. You are responsible for securing your device, choosing a strong PIN, and protecting any exported or backed-up files. No method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when app features or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date.
